Bodyform's announces

We toured the country looking for a brand new voice to give the ‘Whoah’ a 21st Century makeover and launched a campaign on Facebook calling for budding stars to upload entries of themselves singing the famous tune. 

Over 240,000 votes were cast and the quality of entries was amazing, making it an incredibly tough decision. But without further ado, we are pleased to announce the winner as Louise McElhatton, who is 17 and studies at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford.

Stevie Van Lange is the original voice of the Bodyform jingle and judged for competition. She is a big fan of Louise: “There were ten excellent and varied entries selected by the public, including a rock band and two guys, amongst the ladies. Louise stood out with her modern, sultry and soulful interpretation of the original.”

We’re really looking forward to getting into the studio with Louise and bringing our song back to life.  Bodyform is about getting out there, being confident and chasing life as boldly as you want. Our products allow women to carry on as they normally would, whatever the time of the month – the song, sung by Louise, is the perfect way to express this!

Louise told us: “This is amazing news! I have always had a passion for singing and first performed in public at the age of 10. I am overwhelmed to have won and hope that this brings me even closer to my dream of becoming a professional singer! I remember singing along as an 8 year-old – which actually would have been embarrassing if I’d know what Bodyform was lol!”
