When in the menstrual cycle is safest for having unprotected sex?

Unprotected sex is never 100% safe. A condom is the safest birth control as it also protects against both pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. To know the best time to have unprotected sex, you must have a regular menstrual cycle, in which case the week before and the week after the first day of your period is the safest time.

Hi! I am a new member here... I read your above comments & have a question about it...
I normally have a 25 days menstrual cycle... at least thats what i assume is the way to calculate... For example... my current months period begins 5 days earlier to the last month & the last day of the current period coincides with my last months start day. (Eg: my period began on 10th in June & ended on 15th... this month it began on 6th & ended on 10th....
My partner wants to have unprotected sex with me once... couldyou suggest me when could be the best time to not get pregnant in this act? He has heard that its best to have unprotected sex a day or 2 before the next period will start, which i am prettty sure will start on the 1st or 2nd august given the above calculation...  Is it safe that way? Please help ... I want to make him happy.
    Regards,
    Aadi
